Meeting Prince William and Kate at Peake's Quay in Charlottetown, PEI, Canada

Prince William and Kate visited Prince Edward Island on Monday July 4,2011.During their visit they attended various function in the province.Prince William addressed a mass in front of the province house where Premier Robert Ghiz and various governmental officials attended it.Here is a video of their short visit.

I was born in Bhutan(Placed in the heart of the Himalayan mountain range, Bhutan is a small land-locked country east of Nepal, south of Tibetan region of china and bordered on three sides by north eastern Indian states) and lived there nearly half of my life before i made my way towards Nepal where i spend nearly 16 years in a refugee camp.I've spend most of my adult life working as a school teacher back in Nepal.I somehow got an oppurtunity to re-settle in Canada on 2006 and i am living here in Charlottetown,Prince Edward Island,Canada since then. Since my departure from Nepal i have experienced many wonderful and amazing adventures in my life,feelings of both pleasure and pain which i am trying to share with my friends through this blog.This blog will also be a good bridge to connect with Bhutanese living in rest of the parts of world and i will be updating every week to share the information from here.Your positive comments will always inspire me to be more creative however i do accept your bull shit.With Best compliments,,,,,Madan Kumar Giri,,,,,

ALL IN MY THOUGHTS

In front of my tilting cage,

that litle hut of plastics,

so not to suffer from loneliness,

I traveled far and wide,

all in my thought.

I went back to the remote past,

our home and its vicinities,

grandma and her stories

of my great-grandmother,

those mighty warriors from whom I inherited

intolerance and pride.

I traveled far and wide,

all in my thought.

I went far into the future,

into my dreams and high hopes.

To see what was there,

where this changeles passage of time,

where this endless kick of my heels,

could possibly one day lead.

I traveled far and wide,

All in my thought

I also traveled to eternity,

to see my soul at the end of the mess.
